What You Get

I will build your web site based on your input and how you envision it. All this in a friendly, timely, professional manner. I pride myself on meeting deadlines and making my clients happy with their site. I will work with your web hosting, and create all the code and graphic files. You will be in charge of your own content, but I can do updates for future projects and revisions.

Once we have met, whether it be on the phone or in person (I’ve done many projects for clients in other states without ever having met them face to face), and we’ve discussed the details of the project, which includes site technologies, features and time-line for completion, you will get a quote. If you accept the quote, I’ll take 50% payment before the project and 50% payment once the project is finished.

Please take a moment to view my portfolio to get an idea of some other projects I’ve done.

Questions you might have:

Can I get a wordpress theme?

Yes! Price is subject to features.

How do you determine how much you’re going to quote?

Once we have sit down and determined all the features of the site you want, I will charge $50 an hour for my estimated time. If you would rather pay hourly because you don’t have all your features predetermined, we can work it out that way as well.

Can I get a CMS, CRM, KMS or custom made system?

Absolutely. I have plenty of experience in all three. Contact Me for a quote with the details of your request.

What is your background in web development?

I’ve been in web design/development since 2001. I started making some simple sites, then grew into a small business with a few clients. In 2005, I got a full time job at Safeway Inc. building internal tools such as the Store Look-Up tool, Employee Knowledge Management Systems (KMS), multiple Content Management Systems (CMS), and Customer Relations Management (CRM) tools using technologies such as ASP, Javascript/Ajax, Windows IIS, and SQL Server.

I worked at Safeway until 2008 when I took a full time job at World Vision as their Web Developer. There, I utilized technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Linux/Apache, Java/JSP, PL/SQL, SOAP and deal with maintaining the e-commerce system in the back end, and utilize HTML5, RESTful Web Services, Ajax, JSON, jQuery, and convert PSD to HTML in the front end.

The Planet Kodiak business has grown in recent years as well. I’ve developed a network of other, talented designers and developers that I often bring on to large projects.

Logos and business card designs:

I will make you a logo for your web site, forum, business card or letterhead for $75.00. If you want a completely new business card design it’s $100.00. These are provided to you with .PSD and .JPG files which are accepted by most card printing businesses.
