Freedom Foundation is a non-profit think tank focused on helping union employees. For various pieces of legislation, they wanted to give people the ability to quickly and easily call, email, or send a letter to their legislator. I built them a custom WordPress plugin that allows them to keep a list of legislators, their contact info, their state and district, and any committees they belong to.
I’ve added Gutenberg blocks and Elementor widgets that allow editors to write pre-defined messages for any piece of legislation. Users of the site can search for states, districts, and committees to find the right legislators, and send a message from the web page or copy information.
