Freedom Foundation wanted to create an index of every contract between government employers and labor unions representing public employees in Washington State.
With this site, I created a custom WordPress plugin that allows Freedom Foundation to upload PDFs of every contract, and make every word indexable and searchable. This robust search engine includes nearly 3,000 contracts and allows users to filter contracts based on keywords, combinations of keywords, effective dates, employer types, employer names, locations, and unions. I also built is a powerful relevance algorithm used to ensure highest quality results appear first.
